Effortless Time Tracking & Activity Logging for WordPress
Stop guessing where your day went. Automatically log your work sessions, track site changes, and generate timesheets directly from your dashboard.
Designed for freelancers, agencies, and site managers, Saiku Task Logger sits quietly in your dashboard and records your activity. It creates a “Clock In/Clock Out” system that starts when you log in and pauses when you go idle. It even listens for WordPress actions, like updating a plugin or publishing a post, and automatically appends them to your current timesheet entry.
Key Features:
- Auto-Inactivity Detection: Automatically closes your session if you walk away from your computer for 30 minutes (configurable).
- Activity Watcher: Automatically logs text like “Updated Plugin: WooCommerce” or “Published Post: Hello World” into your session notes.
- Manual Entry: Quickly jot down tasks like “Fixed CSS bug” using the dashboard widget.
- History & Export: View your recent sessions and export a CSV report filtered by date range for billing clients.
- Non-Intrusive: Works entirely in the admin backend; invisible to site visitors.
How to Use:
- Start: Log in to your WordPress admin. The logger starts a session automatically.
- Work: Go about your business. If you update a post or plugin, it gets logged.
- Annotate: Open the Task Logger page to see your current session. Type manual notes (e.g., “Client call”) into the input box and hit Enter.
- Break: If you leave for lunch, the inactivity timer will auto-close your session. When you return and click a link, a new session starts.
- Report: At the end of the month, go to the Task Logger page, select your date range, and click “Export Custom CSV” to get your billable hours.
